Our Story
A journey of story telling, creativity, and curiosity
Zama Media was born from a simple belief: that every moment, every person, and every story deserves to be documented with artistry and heart. Founded in 2021 by Emmanuel Ikhizama, what started as a desire to tell stories has grown into a full-service media company serving clients across the region.
Emmanuel's journey began with an iPhone 6 plus inherited from his sister's husband. Inspired by nature's beauty, Emmanuel developed a deep appreciation for photography's power to freeze moments and evoke emotion. After years of honing his craft and studying under renowned photographers and videographers like Emmanuel Oyeleke and Ebuka Mordi, he decided to turn his passion into a profession.
Over the years, Zama Media has evolved from a one-person operation to a talented team of photographers, each bringing their unique perspective and expertise. We've had the privilege of capturing thousands of weddings, portraits, events, and personal projects, but our core mission remains unchanged: to create images that tell authentic stories, and stand the test of time.
Today, we continue to push creative boundaries while staying true to the values that define us. Every client we work with becomes part of our extended family, and every project is an opportunity to create something truly special.
